COLORADO RIVER NEAR WEBBERVILLE, TX

We had a great trip on the Colorado River below Austin last weekend. We put in at Big Webberville Park and paddled down to the FM 969 Bridge. This came out to just over 14 miles by GPS.

Brazos River- Whitney Dam to FM 2114. Â
This is a 9.6 mile stretch of the Brazos river that is easy paddling during normal water flows. Be sure to check the releases from Lake Whitney and the Brazos River gauge at Aquilla before making the trip.Â
